Your photo stays local.

This implementation reads only the file you choose. It does not send the photo, filename, coordinates, metadata or generated copy to a server. A local worker parses supported embedded fields. The preview and generated copy are temporary browser objects, released when cleared or when the page is left.

The app does not write your photo or metadata to cookies, local storage or a database. Your browser may manage its own memory, disk cache, form restoration and downloads. A downloaded copy remains wherever you save it.

Local usage event names are emitted without file details, GPS or tags. No remote analytics collector, advertising script, affiliate tracking, reverse-geocoding service or map request is connected in this version.

The new PNG re-encodes the displayed still pixels. It does not blur faces, house numbers or other visual clues and does not certify anonymity. The browser encoder may add its own technical image information.

The parser is exifr 7.1.3, locally bundled under the MIT license. Image export uses the browser’s canvas encoder.

Hosting and optional advertising

This website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., USA. Page requests necessarily disclose technical connection data such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser information to the host for delivery, security and diagnosis. Our legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in providing a secure, functioning free tool. Cloudflare may process hosting data internationally; see its privacy policy for processing, retention and international transfers.

No external advertising or analytics loader is included in this release. Advertising remains unavailable until this exact new host has an approved placement and the integration and disclosures are updated. There is no active advertising integration or recorded revenue implied by this package. The complete tool is available without advertising. Operator contact is in the imprint.
